The Beauty Academy was established in 1990 to provide the highest quality, short term, intensive beauty therapy training courses. During every beauty course, emphasis is placed on practical work in small groups where each student receives a great deal of individual attention and there is a lot of opportunity to ask questions.

Our students say they are delighted at how quickly they learn and how confident and competent they feel after just a few days.

Since we pioneered short-term private beauty courses, 30 years ago, the market has changed quite a bit. Today there are many schools offering courses, but these are often held in hotels, trainer’s homes or in local hair or beauty salons with very little genuine quality control and consistency of standards. We have 10 purpose designed training centres around England and all of our centres have the latest quality products and equipment essential for today’s professional courses. Verifiers from our qualification awarding bodies regularly inspect these centres.

Six years ago we developed a range of online courses so that students could study completely from home at a pace to suit their lifestyle. In 2020 we added virtual courses to the existing training options. These have been a great success, students have a live presentation from one of our highly qualified tutors which covers both theory and practical training, they are also able to ask questions to ensure their understanding of the subject being studied.

Following successful completion of our beauty training all students are awarded The Beauty Academy Diploma, which allows you to obtain insurance and start your own business working from home or as a mobile beauty therapist.

To be employed in a salon or spa we recommend our VTCT Level 2 & 3 qualification and we have designed our courses to help you achieve these levels as quickly and as economically as possible.
We also offer a selection of more advanced beauty courses that enable those already skilled in the industry to further their abilities. Our beauty training courses often attract a number of qualified therapists who wish to add to their repertoire and offer their clients a more extensive selection of treatments.
